Platform
Shah for CCUSD is built on a foundation of transparency, equity, and excellence.

Here are some goals that Sucheta Shah has identified:

1. Teacher & Bus Driver pay are a priority. Sucheta is committed to not approving any administrator pay increases until teachers and bus drivers receive raises.Â

2. Review 504 and the IEP process and adherence. From her experience of getting a 504 approved for her child, she wants to take a deep dive into this. Every student who has a disability or medical condition that doesn't allow them equity at school should have a 504. This provides the district and the student with clear documentation and expectations and protects both parties. Adherence to these plans is also required.

3. Improve our Exit Surveys for students and employees. We can only learn why they left through proper feedback. Sucheta wants to suggest a simple workflow to initiate the surveys and then gather the data to analyze.

4. Marketing. CCUSD needs to attract students. With school choice, school districts have to think of the students and their families as customers. A business has to identify its target market and build a marketing campaign to attract customers. CCUSD has many great opportunities for students in academics, sports, and clubs. Â

As both a parent and a longtime member of the Cave Creek Unified School District community, I have had the privilege of watching Sucheta Shah serve our schools long before she ever decided to run for the Governing Board. Some people campaign just because they want a position. Sucheta has already spent years doing the work.
Â
I've watched her volunteer countless hours through our PTO, support teachers, organize events, advocate for students, and step forward whenever families needed someone willing to listen and help. She has never sought recognition. She simply shows up because she genuinely cares about our children and our community.
Â
One of the qualities I admire most, is that Sucheta leads by listening. She takes the time to understand different perspectives, asks thoughtful questions, and works to find practical solutions instead of creating unnecessary division. In today's environment, that kind of steady, respectful leadership is exactly what our district needs.
Â
As a parent, I've personally seen her stand up for students who needed someone in their corner. She understands that every child deserves to feel supported, valued, and given the opportunity to succeed. She also understands that supporting students means supporting the teachers and staff who dedicate their lives to educating them.
Sucheta brings a unique combination of educational experience, professional leadership, and years of volunteer service within CCUSD.
Â
Our district deserves Governing Board members who will:
-Keep students at the center of every decisionÂ
-Listen to parents and teachers.
Make thoughtful, data-informed decisions.
-Build trust through transparency.
-Work collaboratively instead of politically.
I believe Sucheta Shah embodies all of these qualities.
Â
I am proud to support her because I know her character, I've witnessed her commitment, and I've seen firsthand the positive impact she has already made in our schools. She doesn’t just make promises about serving our community. She has already been serving it for years.
Â
I encourage every CCUSD voter to join me in voting for Sucheta Shah for the Cave Creek Unified School District Governing Board. Elect a leader like Sucheta, who will continue putting students, families, and the future of our schools first.

I've had the privilege of working alongside Sucheta Shah on multiple CCUSD PTOs over the past five years, and I can say without hesitation that she is an amazing advocate for our students, staff, and teachers.
Sucheta dedicates an enormous amount of her time to volunteering in our district, and she cares deeply about improving our school community and ensuring all needs are met with our limited finances. She researches every issue at great length, and takes real time and care in how she conveys her support. Time and again, I've watched her go above and beyond to make sure everyone, from janitors to executives, are taken care of.
She is a proponent of those who cannot stand up for themselves, and a true advocate for honesty and fairness. CCUSD needs leaders like Sucheta on the Governing Board. She shows up, does the work, and leads with integrity. I'm proud to support her.

Â
Sucheta has been a cheerleader for CCUSD for as long as I have known her.  She can be called on at any time and has volunteered countless hours to teachers and staff.  I had the pleasure of serving two years with her on the Cactus Shadows PTO.  Her work ethic is like none other, and I would be proud to see her on the board.  Even though our political beliefs do not align, her values and vision for Cave Creek Schools line up exactly.  I have no doubt she would make thoughtful, economical decisions with students at the forefront.  Â
A dedicated advocate for student success.
